In this position, you will serve as a key liaison between a U.S.-based operation and its headquarters in Japan, supporting executive leadership and ensuring alignment in business operations, financial reporting, and cross-border communication.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary communication bridge between the U.S. operation and Japan headquarters
- Support senior executives in daily operations and strategic initiatives
- Prepare business reports, presentations, and performance analyses for headquarters
- Manage budgets and conduct monthly actual-versus-plan reviews
- Analyze business performance by segment and clearly communicate insights
- Facilitate alignment of objectives and priorities across regions
- Proactively identify issues and support cross-functional problem solving
- Business-level proficiency in both Japanese and English
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent preferred
- Extensive experience working within a Japanese corporate environment
- 7–10 years of experience in strategy, consulting, finance, or operations
- Strong financial, analytical, and executive-level presentation skills
