Position Summary
Japanese machinery company is seeking a Bilingual (Japanese/English) Administrative Assistant who provide strong administrative support to the Engineering team.
Responsibilities
D ocument Management: Scan, file, and maintain documentation.
Data Entry: Update and manage documents, Excel spreadsheets, and other data entry software
Typing and Formatting: Type and format handwritten drafts or charts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Report Creation: Assist in creating reports using Excel, Word, or PowerPoint.
Correspondence: Compose routine letters and correspondence on behalf of the Manager.
Clerical Support: Collaborate with other administrative assistants to provide necessary clerical support.
Problem-Solving: Offer input on administrative and procedural issues.
Confidentiality: Maintain the confidentiality of company business.
Additional Duties: Perform as a receptionist and assist with other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
Education : High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
Attention to Detail : High level of attention to detail, especially in proofreading.
Language Skills : Fluent in English and Japanese.
Office Equipment : Familiarity with office equipment.
Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Computer Skills : Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio) and data entry software.
