- Conduct in-process and final product inspections, ensuring adherence to quality standards and specifications.
- Perform various quality tests and measurements using appropriate tools and equipment.
- Document inspection results, deviations, and non-conformances accurately and thoroughly.
- Assist in the investigation of quality issues, identifying root causes and supporting the implementation of corrective actions.
- Support the development and maintenance of quality documentation, including procedures, work instructions, and inspection plans.
- Collect and analyze quality data to identify trends, potential issues, and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and other departments to resolve quality-related problems.
- Participate in internal audits and support external audit activities as required.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing product quality and process efficiency.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Associate's degree in a technical field (e.g., Engineering Technology, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing) or equivalent practical experience.
- 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing or quality assurance environment.
- Familiarity with quality control tools and techniques (e.g., calipers, micrometers, CMM, SPC).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 or other relevant quality management systems is a plus.
- Experience with statistical process control (SPC) software or data analysis tools is an advantage.
