Job Summary:** The QA Technician II at Jabil Circuit Sdn Bhd is responsible for performing quality assurance activities to ensure products meet established standards and specifications. This role involves inspecting, testing, and documenting product quality throughout various stages of manufacturing. Job Responsibilities:** * Conduct in-process and final inspections of electronic assemblies and components using various testing equipment and methodologies. * Perform visual inspections for defects, ensuring adherence to IPC standards and company specifications. * Execute functional and electrical tests on products, interpreting test results and identifying non-conformances. * Document inspection and test results accurately and completely, maintaining detailed records. * Identify, isolate, and report non-conforming materials or products, initiating appropriate corrective actions. * Assist in the investigation and resolution of quality issues and customer complaints. * Calibrate and maintain test equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability. * Collaborate with production, engineering, and other departments to improve product quality and process efficiency. * Participate in internal audits and support external quality audits as required. * Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies. Job Qualifications:** * Diploma or equivalent in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field. * Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in a Quality Assurance or Quality Control role, preferably within an electronics manufacturing environment. * Strong knowledge of IPC-A-610 standards and practices. * Proficient in using various measurement and test equipment (e.g., multimeter, oscilloscope, calipers). * Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications. * Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills. * Good communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite). * Experience with statistical process control (SPC) is a plus.Technician BE AWARE OF FRAUD: When applying for a job at Jabil you will be contacted via correspondence through our official job portal with a jabil.com e-mail address; direct phone call from a member of the Jabil team; or direct e-mail with a jabil.com e-mail address.
