Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Shop Hand to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will support daily shop operations by assisting with loading and unloading trucks, using telehandlers and forklift. Getting rental tools prepped to ship. You will be supporting machine shop and inspection operations
Responsibilities
- Assist with the assembly of products using hand tools and power tools
- Operate forklifts and other machinery safely to transport materials within the factory floor.
- Support heavy lifting tasks and manual handling activities in accordance with safety protocols.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workshop, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained.
- Follow safety standards in production, including wearing appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and adhering to safety procedures.
Skills
- Proven experience operating forklifts, hand tools, and power tools in a factory or manufacturing environment.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks, including heavy lifting, safely and efficiently.
- Excellent teamwork skills with experience managing or supporting production or assembly teams while maintaining high safety standards.
Pay: From $19.00 per hour
