SUMMARY
We are seeking applicants for a daytime manufacturing position which includes the preparation of steel and aluminum using pneumatic tools in the processes of commercial sign fabrication. This position involves operating various types of power equipment and production machinery.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Set up materials and machines based on the job at hand
- Sand and prep steel and aluminum components based on the specification
- Operate machinery used in production process and/or assist machine operators
- Assemble products as instructed by drawings and/or floor supervisor
- Ensure work is done safely and provide a great level of attention to detail and focus on the given task
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and take proper care of all equipment and facilities
- Manually lifting and/or preparing raw materials, final products, and items packed for shipment/installation
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- Reliable early morning transportation
- Safety-Toe boots
- Ability to consistently lift heavy items up to 50 lbs.
PREFERRED SKILLS
- Experience with steel and/or aluminum
- Experience with hand tools and power tools
- Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, etc.
