This role serves as a vital cross-functional liaison, partnering with Sales, Operations, Finance, and Accounting, while directly assisting clients, vendors, and external partners. What You'll Actually Do:
- High-Volume Billing: Gather financial data from multiple systems to process customer invoices.
- Contract Review: Review and check customer contracts to make sure billing is 100% accurate, managing the financial details for over 100 different client programs.
- Complex Calculations: Figure out and double-check billing numbers for unique, customized customer plans that cannot be automated and must be calculated by hand.
- Team Collaboration: Work as the billing expert alongside Sales and Finance to set up new contracts correctly from the start, and partner with Customer Service to improve how client questions are answered.
- Problem Solving: Look into and fix any billing mistakes or disagreements for customers and suppliers, making corrections quickly and providing clear proof of the changes.
- System Improvements: Assist with improvements to our billing software so the system can handle new business features and company growth.
- Flexible Support: Help with extra accounting projects and other daily business tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
To Be Successful in This Role, You Will Need:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- 1-2 years of accounting experience
- High attention to detail and accuracy, loves working with data
- Experience with invoicing, bill, and large data sets desired
- Strong Excel to include VLOOKUPs and Pivot tables
- Clear and effective communication skills
- Professional presence with a polished, respectful approach
- Motivated by professional growth and long-term upward mobility
- Experience working within a large organization is preferred
Where and How Much:
- Target Compensation $65K - $75K 15% bonus
- Denver DTC
- Hybrid schedule: 4 days per week in-office, 1 day at home
- Health, Dental & Vision | 401K w/up to 3.5% match | PTO Sick and Personal days
