Job Summary
J1 Door Company is looking for someone who knows doors, hardware, and installation inside and out and is ready to put that knowledge to work in sales instead of in the field. If you're an experienced overhead or passage door technician or installer who's tired of the physical grind but doesn't want to walk away from an industry you actually know, this is your way in.
Responsibilities
- Work commercial and residential leads from the office, using site photos and specs our team gathers for you
- Build estimates for overhead and passage door installs and repairs using our estimating tools
- Follow up on quotes, close deals, and manage the client relationship from first call through signed job
- Work closely with our project management and field teams so what's sold matches what actually gets installed
Skills
- Real hands on experience with door installation, hardware, or repair
- Comfortable on the phone and confident closing a sale
- Organized and self directed, ready to own a pipeline
- No sales background required. We'll teach you the sales process. The product knowledge is the hard part to find, and you already have it
Compensation
- $20/hour base pay
- 5% commission on net profit for every job you close
- Uncapped! The more you close, the more you make
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
