What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electronics Technician Level III - 3rd shift position at J.W. Speaker Corporation?
1st Priority – Daily Execution
- Program, Setup and Run surface mount and through hole equipment (screen printer, pick & place, re-flow oven)
- Troubleshoot machine set up and workmanship problems (process control)
- New Product Development liaison for electronics
- Order fixtures
- Program equipment and develop process parameters
- Back up Team Leader in their absence
- Follow all department and company standards
- Train and mentor
- Process optimization
- Reduce setup time – internal and external
- Utilize simple automation
- Surface problems
- Utilize PDCA to solve problems and drive improvements
- 5S
- Associate degree in electronics is a plus
- Ability to read and understand schematics diagrams
- 1-3 years experience with SMT equipment – set up, running, and troubleshooting
- 1-3 years experience with simple testing of circuit boards
- SMT programming desirable
