Call Center Order Entry Operator

J.W. Jung Seed Company is an industry leader in mail-order and retail gardening. Jung Seed Company ships thousands of quality seeds, plants and gardening accessories to all 50 states. We have five garden centers in the state of Wisconsin with our corporate headquarters stationed in Randolph, WI.

We are seeking motivated individuals for our 2022 Spring Season to assist in our call center as the liaison between our company and its current and potential customers. The successful candidate will be able to accept ownership for effectively solving customer issues, complaints and inquiries; keeping customer satisfaction at the core of every decision and behavior.

As an Order Entry Operator/Customer Service Representative you will get to:

• Manage large amounts of inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner from customers interested in ordering from one of our eight catalogs
• Identify customers’ needs, clarify information, research every issue and provide solutions and/or alternatives
• Seize opportunities to upsell products when they arise
• Enter in customers contact information and process their orders
• Provide expertise on products: annuals, perennials, roses, herbs, fruits/vegetables, bulbs and many more (don't worry, we will train you on this)

How do you know you will make a stellar Order Entry Operator/Customer Service Representative? If you have:

• Strong phone and verbal communication skills along with active listening capabilities
• Comfortable navigating on a computer and previous data entry experience (if you can shop online, you can enter our orders!)
• Previous experience in a customer support role
• Customer focus and adaptability to different personality type
• Ability to multi-task, set priorities and manage time effectively
