J’s Pitaria is a busy, established Mediterranean restaurant proudly serving our community for over 10 years. We prepare our food from scratch daily and take pride in quality, consistency, and attention to detail.
We are looking for an experienced Line Cook / Chef who takes their craft seriously and is seeking a stable, long-term position with a great team.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Extensive experience working on a professional restaurant line.
- Previous experience in a made-from-scratch kitchen strongly preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, consistency, and food presentation.
- Ability to handle a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen.
- Experience with food preparation, cooking, and kitchen organization.
- Dependable, punctual, and comfortable working as part of a team.
- A stable employment history demonstrating long-term commitment to previous positions.
- Someone who takes pride in their work and is looking for a long-term home, not a temporary position.
Professional line cooking experience is required. Candidates with a consistent work history and substantial scratch-kitchen experience will receive priority consideration.
PAY
$15/hour base pay tips.
A line cook / chef typically earns $28–$35 per hour.
SCHEDULE
Full-time | Wednesday–Sunday
- Service: 11 AM–7 PM Wednesday–Saturday; 11 AM–6 PM Sunday.
- Monday and Tuesday OFF.
BENEFITS
- Nine consecutive days of annual vacation around July 4.
- Major holidays off Easter, July 4th, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year.
