Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Carpenter / Laborer to join our construction team. This role involves performing a variety of carpentry and labor tasks on commercial and residential projects, ensuring dependability, responsibility, and quality workmanship. Responsibilities
- Assist in demolition, framing, interior and exterior trim work, and other remodeling jobs
- Operate hand tools, and power tools safely and efficiency
- Perform concrete forming, rebar installation, masonry, and plastering tasks as needed
- Install fixtures such as doors, cabinets, moldings, and other custom woodwork
- Conduct restoration work including water damage remediation
- Handle heavy lifting and assist with material movement on-site
- Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment at all times
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within scope
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction site work or related fields such as remodeling a plus
- Show up on time and ready to work
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and work in physically demanding environments
- Strong understanding of safety standards and procedures on construction sites
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Prior experience in restoration industry or water damage remediation is a plus
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various weather conditions
