Job Summary
CDL Truck driver, tanker endorsement, vac truck operator, deliver or pick up equipment, and or materials
Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and
- Load and unload freight using manual handling techniques or forklift equipment when necessary
- Navigate routes efficiently using GPS navigation systems to ensure timely deliveries
- Comply with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations at all times
- Manage truck loading and unloading processes with precision to maintain cargo integrity and safety standards
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure compliance with safety standards
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery records, and cargo documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding route updates, delivery schedules, or any issues encountered during transit
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the type of vehicle operated (Tanker)
- Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including route driving and delivery driving roles
- Familiarity with flatbeds, tanker trucks, dump trucks, belly dumps, and other specialized vehicles is preferred
- Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, and DOT safety standards
- Ability to manually handle cargo safely and efficiently during load & unload operations
- Experience operating GPS navigation systems for route planning and navigation
- Skilled in truck loading/unloading techniques using forklifts or manual methods when necessary
- Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record; experience with manual transmission preferred
- Ability to adhere strictly to safety protocols while managing hazardous or dangerous goods transportation
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
