Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated HVAC Tinner to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, installing, and maintaining metal ductwork and related components for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. Your expertise will ensure that HVAC systems operate efficiently and meet all safety and quality standards. Responsibilities
- Measure and interpret construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately fabricate and install ductwork, metal framing, and related components.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to cut, shape, assemble, and install HVAC duct systems with precision.
- Perform dimensional measurements and quality control checks to ensure proper fit, alignment, and performance of installed components.
- Conduct heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely while adhering to safety protocols on construction sites.
- Apply caulking, sealing techniques, and finishing touches to ensure airtight connections and optimal system performance.
- Read blueprints and construction plans thoroughly to interpret schematics for metal stud framing, fixture installation, metal fabrication, remodeling projects, and more.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction site work with a focus on HVAC or related trades such as carpentry or metal framing.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, measuring devices, and fabrication equipment.
- Strong understanding of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical drawings relevant to HVAC installation.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during installation processes.
- Knowledge of construction estimating processes is a plus but not required.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret technical instructions accurately.
