A prestigious hedge fund based in Midtown is looking for a Treasury Operations Associate to join their thriving firm.
This is a full charge bookkeeper role where you will be involved with benefits enrollment for the firm. You will maintain books/records for various entities in QuickBooks and facilitate benefit enrollments for medical, 401(k), and fringe benefits.
The Treasury Operations group handles all types of transfers for assets, personable payables for the principals, and invoicing management fees.
The firm has hundreds of accounts with multiple entities. There are lots of different books/records, so they are looking for a 'numbers nerd' who is good with paperwork, collecting documents, and follow up. They want someone who is great with details and looking at numbers.
As this role will set up 401(k) and fringe benefits, it is important for the person to be good with payroll-related data, forms, and making sure all info is appropriately documented.
This is a newly created position and there is a lot of positive traction at the firm, so it is a particularly exciting time to join.
In addition to a competitive base salary ($90k-$120k DOE), the role will enjoy a hybrid work schedule, as well as eligibility for discretionary bonus and benefits.
Qualifications include 3 years of relevant experience, ideally from a professional services or corporate firm. Prior experience in accounting is a plus.
