Description:
This position will help with the oversight of day-to-day outbound operations for 2nd Shift, Sunday through Thursday, in our warehouse/distribution center, while enforcing all safety policies & practices, ensuring training and development of new and existing employees, and providing a safe and productive work environment.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Follow and promote all safety initiatives
- Ensure all work is performed according to J Polep procedures and standards for dock operations
- Mentor, coach and train/ cross-train employees; provide consistent feedback concerning strengths and areas in need of improvement
- Directly supervise all activities of dockworkers and support personnel engaged in loading trucks and trailers
- Coordinate work assignments, monitor performance, and provide training on relevant job duties
- Assist in the loading and unloading of trailers
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to sixty (60) pounds
- Other duties as assigned

- 2 years of supervisor experience
- Must possess demonstrated leadership ability
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of operations
- Must be able to read and clearly communicate in English. Spanish is a plus.

Salary : $60,000 - $65,000
