J. Pechauer Custom Cues is a family-owned manufacturer known worldwide for producing high-quality custom pool cues. Our work blends precision manufacturing with traditional woodworking and we’re looking for someone who wants to learn a skilled trade from the ground up.

This Role Is a Great Fit If You:
- Like hands-on, physical work
- Enjoy working with wood or learning a craft
- Are curious about manufacturing, machining, or finishing
- Want to build long-term skills (not just punch a clock)
- Are reliable, coachable, and detail-oriented
- Have worked as a Trim Carpenter, but want a job with less travel
No prior woodworking or manufacturing experience is required. We train the right people.
What You’ll Do
- Assist in the manufacturing of custom pool cues
- Work with wood components through various production stages
- Sand, prep, finish, and inspect parts
- Operate basic shop equipment and hand tools
- Follow work instructions and quality standards
- Maintain a clean, organized work area
- Support teammates across the shop as needed
What We’re Looking For
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship
- Ability to stand, lift, and perform hands-on work
- Basic measurement and math skills
- Manufacturing, woodworking, trim carpentry or shop experience is a plus, but not required
