Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation of construction sites by clearing debris, setting up tools, and organizing materials
- Load, unload, and transport materials and equipment safely around the worksite
- Support carpenters, masons, electricians, and other tradespeople by providing necessary tools and supplies promptly
- Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a secure work environment for all team members
- Operate basic construction equipment under supervision and report any maintenance needs or hazards
- Maintain cleanliness of the work area by disposing of waste and keeping pathways clear
- Perform general labor tasks such as digging trenches, mixing concrete, and assisting with framing or roofing as needed
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions with stamina and strength
- Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
- Basic understanding of construction site safety procedures
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Prior experience in construction or manual labor is a plus but not required; on-the-job training will be provided
- Valid driver’s license preferred for transporting materials or equipment when necessary
