What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Laborer position at Centermoreland Concrete?
Summary
We are a small, family-owned business specializing in precast concrete products, with all pouring performed inside our plant. This role is ideal for dependable, versatile individuals who enjoy a fast-paced environment and a variety of daily tasks.
Because many of our products are made to order, each day brings something different. After training, employees are often expected to work independently.
Wages based on experience and skill set. Full-time and OT. Each day begins at 7AM.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and disassemble concrete molds
- Set up molds for production
- Measure, cut, and tie reinforcement materials
- Pour and finish concrete products
- Assist with occasional on-site installation
Requirements: (safety-sensitive position)
- Ability to pass a drug screening
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks (stand, bend, climb, maneuver)
- Medical clearance for physical labor
- Reliable transportation
Skills:
- Accurate use of a tape measure
- Proficiency with hand and power tools
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail
- Construction or concrete experience is a plus
