What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Manager/Interior Design position at J Lynn Design Group?
We are seeking a detail-oriented and creative individual with a passion for interior design to fill our project management position. In this role, you will oversee construction progress on-site and handle the daily needs of assigned projects.
To be considered for this position, you must have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or equivalent
- 3 years of experience working in the Interior Design Industry working for a Residential or Commercial Design firm
- Project Management Experience
- Familiarity with Adobe Suites (specifically In-Design)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience using drafting software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or Sketchup
- The ability to read and understand full sets of construction documents.
- Knowledge of cabinetry, on-site carpentry, tile and wood flooring, and general construction trades (a plus)
- Experience as a Design Manager (a plus)
- Familiarity with bookkeeping programs like QuickBooks (for general understanding)
