Senior HRIS Administrator
Boston, Massachusetts | Hybrid
J. Katz & Partners is partnering with a leading organization to identify a Senior HRIS Administrator in Boston. This is a hybrid position requiring three days per week in the office.
The Senior HRIS Administrator will serve as a senior, hands-on technical resource responsible for HRIS configuration, troubleshooting, reporting and process improvement. The successful candidate will bring strong experience configuring benefits and compensation within an enterprise HRIS and be capable of independently diagnosing system issues and developing effective solutions.
The position is part of a four-person team and offers an opportunity to take meaningful ownership of HR technology initiatives while collaborating closely with HR, Benefits, Compensation, Payroll, Finance and IT.
Key Responsibilities
• Configure and optimize benefits and compensation functionality within the HRIS.
• Serve as a senior technical resource for complex system issues, troubleshooting and data-related questions.
• Lead system enhancements from requirements gathering and configuration through testing, documentation and rollout.
• Support compensation programs, including compensation surveys and the development and maintenance of compensation structures.
• Develop and maintain HR reports, dashboards, audits and data-validation processes.
• Identify opportunities to automate and improve HR, benefits, compensation and payroll workflows.
• Maintain data accuracy and integrity across HR systems and integrations.
• Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors on system initiatives and cross-functional projects.
• Develop documentation and provide guidance and training to HR team members and system users.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• At least six years of progressive HRIS experience.
• Strong hands-on experience configuring benefits and compensation within an enterprise HRIS.
• Experience with Workday, Dayforce/Ceridian or UKG. Direct Dayforce experience is welcome but not required.
• Experience with compensation surveys and developing or maintaining compensation structures.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex HRIS issues and work independently.
• Experience with system enhancements, testing, reporting, integrations and data management.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables.
• Strong analytical, project-management and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate technical information for nontechnical stakeholders.
• Experience in a fast-paced, service-oriented organization is preferred.
Additional Information
• Hybrid schedule: Three days in the office and two days remote.
• Bonus eligible.
