Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Construction Scheduler to join our team. The Construction Scheduler will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and monitoring project schedules for multiple construction projects. This role is critical in ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and in coordination with all stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop baseline project schedules using industry-standard scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project)
- Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, and clients to establish project timelines
- Monitor project progress and update schedules regularly to reflect current conditions
- Identify potential delays, risks, and critical path impacts, and recommend corrective actions
- Prepare and present schedule reports, including progress updates and forecasting
- Analyze resource allocation and manpower requirements
- Support bid phase scheduling and proposal development
- Maintain documentation of schedule changes and project milestones
- Ensure compliance with contract requirements and company standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred)
- 3 years of experience in construction scheduling (commercial or industrial preferred)
- Proficiency in scheduling software such as Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project
- Strong understanding of construction processes, sequencing, and project lifecycle
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling
- Familiarity with Lean construction principles
- Experience working for a general contractor
- Knowledge of cost loading and resource loading in schedules

- Combination of office and on-site project work
