About the Role
As an Amusement Service Technician, you will play a key role in troubleshooting, servicing, installing, and repairing amusement equipment at customer locations throughout your assigned territory. As the primary service representative in the field, you will deliver timely, professional support to customers while ensuring equipment operates reliably and efficiently. This role requires strong mechanical and technical aptitude, effective problem-solving skills, and a commitment to exceptional customer service. You will work closely with customers, establishment personnel, and internal teams to resolve issues, minimize downtime, and support the overall success of our operations. The successful candidate must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
What you’ll do
Core Responsibilities
- Respond to service calls in a timely and efficient manner, prioritizing requests based on urgency, customer needs, and geographic location.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and test amusement equipment to restore functionality and minimize downtime.
- Install, inspect, maintain, and service equipment, hardware, and related systems to ensure safe and reliable operation.
- Perform preventative maintenance and equipment evaluations to identify issues before service disruptions occur.
- Complete required service documentation, equipment records, inventory transactions, accurately and on time.
- Perform collection and basic bookkeeping responsibilities in accordance with company procedures.
- Monitor parts and equipment inventory levels and communicate supply needs to support uninterrupted service operations.
- Ensure the quality, security, and proper handling of all company equipment and assets.
- Maintain compliance with company policies, departmental procedures, safety standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
Collaborations and Partnerships
- Build and maintain positive relationships with establishment owners, managers, employees, and patrons to support a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Partner with Team Leads and Regional Operations Management to resolve service issues, coordinate installations, and improve operational performance.
- Collaborate with fellow technicians and cross-functional teams to share knowledge, coordinate resources, and ensure effective service delivery.
- Communicate service updates, equipment concerns, and operational needs clearly and professionally to customers and internal stakeholders.

Who You Are
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Possess a valid driver's license and maintain a satisfactory driving record.
- Demonstrate strong mechanical, technical, and troubleshooting abilities with the capability to diagnose and resolve equipment issues independently.
- Proficient in the use of electrical testing equipment, including gauges, meters, and diagnostic tools.
- Possess intermediate computer skills and the ability to complete electronic documentation accurately.
- Ability to read, write, and perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with customers, peers, managers, and cross-functional teams.
- Customer-focused, dependable, and capable of delivering high-quality service in a fast-paced environment.

- Previous experience servicing, troubleshooting, or installing amusement equipment, digital jukeboxes, dart boards, pool tables, or similar electronic/mechanical equipment is preferred but not required.

Education
Requires a high school diploma or GED. Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
Experience
Little to no prior professional experience required. Training will be provided.
Work Environment
The role is based in an indoor office environment with routine access to standard equipment and climate control. Occasional field work may require brief exposure to outdoor weather and non-climate-controlled conditions.
