We are seeking an experienced and motivated HVAC Service Technician to join our team at J.J. Sullivan Inc.. This family-owned company has proudly served the community for over 100 years. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heating and cooling systems with the ability to troubleshoot, install, and repair various types of HVAC equipment. This role involves working in the field to provide exceptional service to our residential and commercial clients, ensuring their systems operate efficiently and effectively.
A performance-based bonus and potential sign-on bonus will be negotiated at the time of hire.

- Job Type: Full-time
- Pay: $25.00 – $45.00 per hour
- Shift and schedule: On call
- Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
- Work Location: In person
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems, including furnaces, boilers, air conditioners, and water heaters.
- Diagnose issues and recommend solutions in a professional, customer-focused manner.
- Conduct preventative maintenance and efficiency checks on equipment.
- Maintain accurate service records, documentation, and inventory of parts used.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and local building codes.
- Participate in the on-call rotation as needed.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding their service needs and available solutions.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of jobs and uphold company quality standards.
- Minimum B license required.
- Proven HVAC service and installation experience.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Ability to lift, move, and install HVAC equipment as needed.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
