Job title: Accounts Receivable Specialist
Location: Edison, On-site
Compensation: $22–$24/hr.
Employment Type: Full-time, Temporary-to-Hire
Our client is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage daily accounts receivable activities, collections, deposits, owner account transactions, and related accounting functions. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable managing a high volume of financial transactions while communicating with clients and external partners.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and reconcile accounts receivable and prepaid owner reports.
- Monitor and administer collection policies and communicate with clients regarding delinquent accounts.
- Process daily deposits, transfers, ACH payments, cash receipts, and remote deposits.
- Prepare and process owner resales, coordinating with buyers and sellers.
- Monitor approximately 2,500 owner accounts, transactions, and balances.
- Prepare monthly delinquency reports and coordinate with clients and attorneys on collection matters.
- Coordinate municipal reimbursements and client fund contributions with property managers, municipalities, banks, and brokers.
Requirements:
- Previous accounts receivable or accounting experience required.
- Strong understanding of reconciliations, deposits, cash receipts, and collections.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Ability to manage a high volume of transactions while maintaining accuracy.
- Must be comfortable working fully on-site and communicating with clients and external partners.
