What are the responsibilities and job description for the Siding Accessories Fabricator position at J & J MILLWORKS INC?
Job Summary: This position will fabricate different items ranging from porch columns, crawl doors, custom shutters, window trim, etc. Most of these items will be made from PVC.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Experience running different types of machinery.
- Follow company safety to ensure a safe work environment.
- Load and unload tools and material
- Cuts and fabricate wood/PVC trim and assists with deliveries.
- Assists in warehouse as needed.
- Other duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with proven ability to prioritize and meet deadlines..
- Thorough understanding of construction industry safety and health laws, regulations and policies.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- 1 year of experience in warehouse or construction industry preferred.
- Bilingual is English/Spanish preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds at times and repeatedly as needed.
- Able to drive and navigate a medium size flatbed truck to area locations a few hours away
- Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
- Must be able to access and navigate all areas of the warehouse.
- Position works both inside and outside during various types of weather.
