Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Helper for about a 3 month project in Elkin, NC. We will be installing vinyl siding and windows at an apartment complex.
This will be a sub-contractor position with no taxes or insurance deducted. You will be responsible for paying your own taxes.
The ideal candidate will assist in various duties including: assisting vinyl siding and window installers, maintenance tasks, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and to high standards. This role requires a hands-on tasks and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members on-site. Vinyl siding and trim installation is a plus.
Duties
- Assist in providing materials, picking up debris and throwing in dumpster
- Follow instructions
- Scaffold building and taking down
Qualifications
- Previous experience in construction or related fields is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with vinyl siding installation, power tools, hammer, ability to read tape measurements
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work well within a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn new skills and techniques related to construction and maintenance tasks.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods.
- Smoking allowed on breaks only in designated area.
- Dependable vehicle or transportation required.
- No drugs or alcohol.

Pay: $130.00 per day
