Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily painting activities, ensuring tasks are completed on time and to company standards.
- Oversee surface preparation, priming, painting, staining, and finishing work for both interior and exterior projects.
- Provide training and guidance to team members on proper painting methods, equipment use, and safety practices.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with specifications.
- Ensure tools, sprayers, and other painting equipment are maintained in good working condition.
- Communicate effectively with clients, project managers, and team members regarding job expectations and progress.
- Enforce safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized job site.
Requirements
- Proven experience in residential and/or commercial painting with a strong understanding of industry techniques and standards.
- Prior supervisory or lead painter experience, demonstrating the ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Knowledge of surface preparation, coatings, finishes, and application methods (brush, roller, and spray).
- Familiarity with construction job site procedures and scheduling.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and crew members.
