Overview
We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team, responsible for delivering high-quality painting services across various projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both residential and commercial painting, with a keen eye for detail and a solid understanding of construction practices. This role requires hands-on experience with various painting techniques and tools, ensuring that all work meets our high standards of quality and safety.
Duties
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primer as necessary.
- Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various tasks including caulking, plastering, and trim carpentry.
- Perform restoration work on existing structures to maintain aesthetic appeal.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to ensure project timelines are met.
- Conduct maintenance tasks as required to keep equipment in good working condition.
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment at all times.
Experience
- Proven experience in residential and commercial painting projects.
- Experience with plastering, stucco application, and concrete finishing is preferred.
- Ability to perform renovation tasks including fixture installation and remodeling activities.
- Previous construction site experience is essential; maintenance person experience is a plus.
- Proficiency in using airless paint spraying equipment and other power tools.
