Key Responsibilities
Greet customers promptly and professionally
Listen to and document customer concerns accurately
Prepare detailed repair orders and cost estimates
Explain recommended services and repairs clearly
Schedule service appointments efficiently
Communicate with technicians regarding repair progress
Update customers on repair status and completion timelines
Process payments and close repair orders
Maintain accurate service records
Promote additional services or maintenance when appropriate
Ensure high customer satisfaction and follow up when necessary
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED (required)
Automotive service experience preferred
Knowledge of automotive systems and repair terminology
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Basic computer proficiency (service management software experience a plus)
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Experience
Previous experience as a Service Writer or Service Advisor
