Responsibilities

• Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, pruning, and planting to ensure healthy growth and aesthetic appeal
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as excavators and snow plows safely and efficiently for various landscaping projects
• Execute lawn care routines like aeration, fertilization, and weed control to promote lush turf conditions
• Support landscape construction activities including hardscape installation, planting beds, and irrigation system setup
• Conduct tree care tasks such as trimming, pruning, and health assessments to maintain safety and vitality
• Assist with gardening duties like soil preparation, planting new greenery, and seasonal clean-up efforts
• Maintain equipment through regular inspections and basic repairs to ensure optimal performance during projects

Skills

• Mechanical knowledge to operate and troubleshoot landscaping machinery and tools effectively
• Strong understanding of lawn care practices, landscape maintenance techniques, and horticulture principles
• Experience with landscaping installation projects including hardscape features such as patios or walkways
• Proficiency in using hand tools (shovels, pruners) and power tools (trimmers, blowers) safely and accurately
• Knowledge of irrigation systems installation and maintenance for efficient water management
• Ability to perform tree trimming, pruning, and general tree care with precision
• Familiarity with snow plowing procedures for winter maintenance operations
• Good physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions; ability to lift heavy materials when necessary

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
