Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead site grading crew on various construction and development sites.
- Perform and oversee fine grading for building pads, roadways, and other site areas.
- Experience in laying Storm, Sewer and Water.
- Ensure proper elevations, slopes, and tolerances using GPS, and/or laser equipment.
- Coordinate daily work activities and ensure adherence to project plans and schedules.
- Operate grading and earthmoving equipment as needed to support crew operations.
- Inspect work for accuracy, quality, and compliance with specifications.
- Maintain a safe work environment and enforce company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with Project Managers, Superintendents, and other team members.
- Assist with equipment maintenance and ensure tools and materials are properly used and cared for.
Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in site development, grading and earthwork construction.
- Prior experience as a foreman in fine/rough grading preferred.
- Strong understanding of grading plans, blueprints, and construction layouts.
- Skilled in GPS grading systems.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.
- Valid Driver's License with clean motor vehicle record.
