Open Interviews available this Wednesday, 7/12 for 1st & 2nd shift!
Doors will open at 930am and close at 1130am promptly. No applicants will be accepted after 1130am.
Where: 120 Penney Road, Forest Park, GA 30297
Pay: Starting for General Warehouse 1 at $16.00 for 1st shift, Forklift Operators $17.50 and $17.00 for 2nd shift (with 2nd shift differential)
Schedule: 1st Shift 5am-130pm & 6am-230pm; 2nd shift 230pm-11pm & 330pm-12am, hours adjusted for OT per shift based on business needs.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Order filling, Shipping, Receiving, Pallet building, Forklift Operators
- Checks and inspects cartons to reflect accurate quantity and condition for further processing.
- Prepares cartons for processing by:
- Locating, preparing, and affixing appropriate labels
- Packing, labeling, and scanning cartons as required
- Sorting and routing cartons
- Entering appropriate information in inventory systems as required
- Loading, unloading, picking as required
- Performs processing activities as assigned
- Moves cartons from one location to another, either manually or mechanically
Core Competencies & Accomplishments:
- Six months experience in the same or related tasks is preferable.
- Must be able to perform repetitious movement including (Lifting): Frequent 0 – 30lbs; Occasional 30 – 75lbs
- Familiarity with use of contemporary merchandise processing equipment (i.e. hand- held scanners)
- Familiarity with use of warehouse equipment and inventory systems.
- Requires the ability to understand and follow general and/or written instructions.
- Involves the use of elementary arithmetic.
- Ability to learn computer processing systems.
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently
- Ability to determine which prescribed steps to take to process problem cartons and to resolve identified discrepancies.
