J Bar J Youth Services is seeking a detail-driven, mission-focused Grants Financial Manager to support the life-changing work of our Anti-Trafficking Project (at). In this role, you won’t just manage numbers—you’ll help ensure critical funding is used effectively to support survivors and prevent exploitation in our communities.

About the Role
The Grants Financial Manager leads the financial management and compliance of federal, state, and local grants supporting the at. You’ll work closely with program leadership to ensure budgets are accurate, reporting is timely, and all funding requirements are met with integrity and precision.
This is a highly collaborative role that sits at the intersection of finance and program impact.
Starting pay is $28 per hour, DOE.
What You’ll Do
- Develop & Manage Budgets
- Build and maintain grant budgets aligned with funding requirements and program goals.
- Ensure Financial Compliance
Monitor grant expenditures and ensure adherence to regulations (including 2 CFR 200) and funding guidelines.
- Oversee Match & Cost Allocation
Track match requirements, maintain cost allocation methods, and ensure accurate payroll coding across funding sources.Prepare and submit timely, accurate financial reports and reimbursement requests.Serve as the primary contact for grant audits and monitoring; maintain organized, audit-ready documentation.Identify risks, implement financial review procedures, and ensure strong fiscal oversight.Partner with program leadership and accounting staff to align financial practices with program delivery.What You Bring

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, nonprofit management, or related field OR at least 3 years of experience in grant financial management or fiscal oversight
- Strong knowledge of federal and/or state grant regulations (including cost allocation and match requirements preferred)
- Experience managing multiple funding sources and complex budgets
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
Bonus:
- Grant writing experience
- Advanced degree or coursework in financial management or public administration
