What are the responsibilities and job description for the Box Truck Owners - Contract Home Delivery Work position at J.B. Hunt?
** This opportunity is for established independent contractors with an active DOT & MC authority only. **
J.B. Hunt is expanding our Final Mile Services home delivery carrier force. We are looking for carriers that are interested in contracting with us to deliver and install furniture, appliances and exercise equipment in customer homes.
- $700 average route rate*
- Monday-Friday work week
- Average route: 100-150 miles
- 7-day payment terms
- Established customer base with consistent routes
- Access to third-party discounts for truck rental, fuel and tools
- Access to nationwide accounts
Carrier Requirements Include:
- Active US DOT & MC numbers
- Previous home delivery (white glove) experience
- Previous furniture delivery and installation experience
- 26’ box truck (truck equipped with liftgate is a plus)
