Door Shop Associate (Training Provided)

J&B Acoustical is looking for a dependable and motivated Door Shop Associate to join our Door, Frame & Hardware Division.

No prior door or hardware experience required — we will train the right person.
This is a hands-on position that combines shop work, customer interaction, and jobsite support. If you show up, work hard, and take pride in what you do, there is strong opportunity to grow.

What You’ll Do

• Provide friendly, professional customer service to contractors and walk-in customers
• Answer and return phone calls related to material sales and job needs
• Help prepare and organize doors, frames, and hardware for upcoming jobs
• Pull and mark hardware for projects
• Assist with basic fabrication and shop tasks based on schedules and tickets
• Help track inventory and notify management when materials are running low
• Assist with scheduling and preparing deliveries to job sites
• Assist with deliveries when needed
• Keep the shop clean and organized (stocking materials, daily cleanup, etc.)

• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Good attitude and ability to work with a team
• Basic mechanical aptitude (comfortable using tools or learning quickly)
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Reliable and dependable
• Ability to lift and handle materials safely

No Experience? No Problem.
