Service Technicians All Around Door & Gate For more than 35 years, All Around Door & Gate has been the local leader in overhead doors & operators, gate entry systems and access control for the greater Cleveland area. We have proven expertise in every phase of garage door installation, garage door repair and service. We believe in relationship building and "doing it right" the first time.
We have an immediate opening for a mechanically inclined individual to work full time as a field installation/service technician. This position is based out of our North Ridgeville, OH location but will include daily travel to customer's sites through out Northeast Ohio and overnight travel from time to time. This is a full-time position and would like to hire someone with garage door installation experience but will train the right person.
Job Responsibilities
- Evaluate and diagnose technical problems and determine proper repair/solution
- Perform installations, repairs, and preventive maintenance on all types of overhead doors, gates, and operators
- Operate vehicle in a safe manner
- Build positive relationships with customers by providing outstanding and excellent service
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of garage door experience required
- Strong mechanical aptitude and trouble shooting
- Professional demeanor in all customer and company encounters
- Self-motivated, team player, with ability to work with minimal supervision
- Dependable, excellent attendance and punctual time record
- Ability to lift 75 pounds or more
- Able to stand short periods at a time and climb ladders, comfortable with heights
- Proficient using power tools, hand tools, smart phone and tablet
- Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Valid U.S. driver's license and clean driving record
