.NET / Power BI Developer

About the Opportunity: The Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks (MDWFP) are seeking an experienced .NET / Power BI Developer to support application development, business intelligence, reporting, data analytics, and modernization initiatives across the agency.

This role offers the opportunity to work on high-impact projects that improve data visibility, reporting capabilities, and internal applications used to support statewide operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, enhance, and maintain applications using C#, .NET, ASP.NET, and .NET Core.
• Design and build Power BI dashboards, reports, datasets, and visualizations.
• Create data models, measures, and calculations using DAX and Power Query.
• Develop APIs, integrations, and web-based business applications.
• Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and database objects.
• Support ETL processes, data transformation, reporting automation, and application modernization initiatives.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot applications, reporting, database, and data quality issues.
• Mentor junior developers and support technical documentation efforts.
