Job Title: Medical Information Systems and Processes Contractor
Duties:
Systems, Tools, Process, and Governance Management
Lead the implementation, maintenance, optimization, customization, and continuous improvement of systems and tools supporting Medical Information, including but not limited to
- Medical enquiry/request management systems
- Reference management systems
- Document management systems
- Learning management systems
- Dashboards and reporting/analytics tools
- Internal intranet sites and external-facing Medical Information webpages
- Oversee systems, tools, and associated governance processes to ensure compliant execution of Medical Information activities in accordance with company standards, SOPs, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
- Own the lifecycle management of Medical Information content across internal and external platforms, including posting, updating, and retiring content on external-facing Medical Information webpages in accordance with governance and compliance requirements.
- Manage reporting and analytics deliverables, including development, maintenance, quality control, and distribution of standard and ad hoc Medical Information reports to internal stakeholders.
- Oversee copyright and permissions management for external data and content used in Medical Information activities, including securing permissions, coordinating payments, and maintaining required documentation to support compliance and inspection readiness.
- Ensure system and process adherence to data privacy standards and Medical Information safe harbor requirements, supporting compliant handling of sensitive and confidential information across all platforms.
- Serve as the key point of contact for Medical Information systems operations and governance.
- Anticipate Medical Information system and process needs; translate user and business requirements into actionable enhancements and technology solutions.
- Foster innovation and support digital transformation initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, scalability, and user experience.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Vendor Management
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners (e.g., IT, Compliance, Quality, Medical Affairs, Commercial Operations) to align on requirements and enable seamless system integration and process execution.
- Manage external vendors supporting Medical Information systems and tools, ensuring delivery of services according to defined scope, timelines, and quality expectations.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to execute operational deliverables and support cross-team and cross-functional initiatives.
Training & Knowledge Management
- Maintain and continuously improve departmental training materials and resources for both internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Provide system training and ongoing education to ensure consistent, compliant, and effective use of Medical Information tools and processes.

Preferred / Nice to Have:
- Experience with Salesforce-based medical enquiry management systems, Veeva Vault (e.g., MedComms, PromoMats, Quality), EndNote, Power BI, Pimcore or other web publishing tools, CRM platforms, and SharePoint.
- Working knowledge of GxP validation terminology.
- Experience supporting global or multi-geography Medical Information operations.
Education:
Bachelor's degree required.
MBA, MS in Health Informatics, or other advanced degree a plus.
