What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Bar Manager/Bartender position at Živio Modern European Tavern and Grill?
We are looking for a candidate who has at least years of experience in the service industry, preferably in a bar or restaurant. Responsibilities include greeting and seating guests, taking orders and serving food and drinks to guests and performing other typical bar related duties. The right candidate will be responsible for creating a friendly and professional atmosphere, maintaining efficient operations in the bar area, communicating with the kitchen staff to ensure orders are filled correctly, stocking a variety of beverages and helping to ensure food quality.
This position is a hourly position that will recieve tips, we are looking for a second assistant manager/shift lead to work directly under the head bar manager.
Projected hourly income after tips is 25-40$ on average.
Responsibilities:
- Serve drinks to customers.
- Tend bar and serve drinks.
- Talk to customers about drinks.
- Talk to customers about the bar's food offerings.
- Maintain a pleasant working environment for employees and customers.
- Maintain inventory of liquor, other drink ingredients and supplies.
- Oversee cleanliness of the bar.
- Communicate with staff members to ensure smooth operation of the bar.
- Closing the restaurant
- Handle customer interactions
- Handle staff interactions
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $8.50 - $10.50 per hour
