Our Lone Tree and Denver, CO offices are seeking a Medical Assistant who enjoys hands-on patient interaction and wants to grow in women’s health and reproductive medicine. We offer stable daytime hours Monday through Friday 7:00 am – 4:30 pm with occasional weekend rotation required.

Essential Functions and Accountabilities:

• Prepare exam and procedure rooms
• Support patients during clinical visits and procedures
• Perform specimen collection and processing
• Assist Physicians with patient care and clinical procedures
• Maintain supplies and ensure rooms and equipment are clean and fully stocked
• Practice phlebotomy
• Maintain clinical supplies inventory.
• Specimen collection, processing for in-house and outside laboratories.
• Provide patients with information regarding upcoming procedures and reassurance/comfort before, during and after procedures.

Academic Training:

• Completion of Certified Medical Assistant Program – preferred
  • Studies level: Certification
  • Studies area: Nursing/healthcare assistant
• Phlebotomy Program – preferred
  • Studies level: Certification
  • Studies area: Phlebotomy Program

Requirements:

• 6 months experience as a Medical Assistant in physician practice
• Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel

Preferred Experience:

• 1 year Phlebotomy experience or willingness to learn preferred
• Prior experience in Fertility, OBGYN, or Women’s healthcare – preferred
• Experience supporting clinical procedures is a plus
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience - preferred
