Job Description: Regional Sales Director
Reporting to: Vice President, Innovation & Strategic Partnerships
Position Summary
The Regional Sales Director plays a key leadership role in driving patient growth and strengthening referral partnerships across assigned markets within IVI RMA North America. Reporting directly to the VP, Innovation & Strategic Partnerships, this position will lead the regional sales strategy, oversee a team of Physician Liaisons, and collaborate with cross-functional leaders in Marketing, Operations, and Clinical Services to support strategic initiatives that enhance patient access, experience, and growth.
Essential Responsibilities
- Develop and execute regional sales and outreach strategies that align with IVI RMA’s strategic priorities and patient acquisition goals.
- Lead, coach, and manage a regional team of Physician Liaisons and Business Development Representatives to achieve referral and growth targets.
- Build, strengthen, and maintain strategic relationships with referring physicians, OB/GYN groups, community partners, and women’s health networks.
- Partner with the VP, Innovation & Strategic Partnerships to identify and implement initiatives that expand referral networks and improve market presence.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Clinical Operations, and Practice Leadership to ensure consistent messaging, coordinated outreach, and aligned growth efforts.
- Analyze market trends, referral data, and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities and inform strategic planning.
- Support the development of tools, training, and performance dashboards to enhance team effectiveness and ensure data-driven decision-making.
- Represent IVI RMA at regional and national conferences, events, and industry forums to promote brand awareness and partnership opportunities.
- Maintain compliance with all applicable regulations, internal policies, and HIPAA standards.
- Prepare and present regional performance reports and recommendations to senior leadership.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or related field required; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in healthcare business development, physician relations, or regional sales management — fertility or women’s health experience strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated success leading regional teams and achieving measurable growth goals.
- Proven ability to cultivate physician relationships and execute complex, multi-market business strategies.
- Experience working in a matrixed healthcare organization, coordinating across operations, marketing, and clinical departments.
- Strong analytical and strategic planning skills with proficiency in CRM and reporting tools.
- Willingness to travel regionally up to 50%.
