We use our accurate and powerful Typhoon™ geophysical surveying system, together with advanced data analytics from our subsidiary, Computational Geosciences Inc., to accelerate and de-risk the mineral exploration process as we seek to discover new deposits of critical metals that may otherwise be undetectable with traditional exploration technologies. We believe the United States is significantly underexplored and has the potential to yield major new discoveries of critical metals. Our mineral exploration efforts focus on copper and other metals, including nickel, vanadium, cobalt, platinum group elements, gold, and silver. Through the advancement of our portfolio of electric metals exploration projects, headlined by the Santa Cruz Copper Project in Arizona and the Tintic Copper-Gold Project in Utah, as well as other exploration projects in the United States, we intend to support the United States supply chain independence by finding and delivering the critical metals necessary for the electrification of the economy. We also operate a 50/50 joint venture with Saudi Arabian Mining Company (Ma’aden) to explore for minerals across ~48,500 km of underexplored Arabian Shield in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Duties And Responsibilities
- Process outgoing payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
- Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable data
- Reconcile the accounts payable ledger to ensure that all bills and payments are accounted for and properly posted.
- Verify and investigate discrepancies, if any, by reconciling vendor accounts and monthly vendor statements
- Generate reports detailing accounts payable status
- Understand expense accounts and cost centers
- Understands compliance issues around accounts payable processes (W-9, sales tax, etc.)
- Proven accounting experience, preferably as an Accounts Payable Clerk
- Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounts payable principles
- Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records
- Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
- Proficiency in English and in MS Office
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Associate’s degree in finance, accounting, or Business Administration, or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 1 year of experience in an accounting role
- Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
