ABOUT THE JOB:
Job Title: Ecommerce Manager
Department: Marketing
Role Summary:
The Ecommerce Manager will oversee the development, optimization, and management of our e-commerce platform to drive growth, improve user experience, and ensure seamless website functionality. This is a fast-paced role requires a balance of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and creative problem-solving to deliver an engaging, customer-centric online experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain Itzy Ritzy’s e-commerce website & mobile app, ensuring optimal performance, site quality, speed, and functionality.
- Oversee front-end and back-end development, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and integrations with Shopify (or other platforms).
- Evaluate, manage and optimize our app ecosystem to enhance site functionality and customer experience.
- Maintain security and compliance standards, ensuring customer data is protected.
- Collaborate with the marketing, product, and creative teams to implement website updates, new features, and promotional campaigns.
- Work with SEO agency to implement technical site upgrades and content improvements
- Set up new products in Shopify, including descriptions, imagery, and pricing, ensuring accuracy and consistency and monitoring inventory levels.
- Execute merchandising strategies to optimize product placement and improve discoverability and sales.
- Use heatmaps and review performance data to identify opportunities for upgrades and enhancements to the site.
- Identify and resolve issues on the front-end and back-end of the website to ensure seamless functionality and user experience.
- Lead A/B testing initiatives to improve UX and key performance metrics.
- Manage DTC re-theme and ecommerce roadmap
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Ecommerce, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5 years of experience in e-commerce website development and management, preferably in Shopify or similar platforms.
- Proficient in front-end and back-end programming languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Liquid, etc.).
- Experience managing Shopify apps and integrations.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce merchandising and product set-up processes.
- Experience analyzing e-commerce performance data and heatmaps to improve site functionality and user experience.
- Proven track record of managing e-commerce projects from start to finish.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering innovative solutions.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
