What are the responsibilities and job description for the Childcare Teachers Aides position at Itty Bitties Academy?
Infant/Toddler Teacher (16 Months – 2 Years)
We are seeking dependable, energetic, and nurturing teacher's aides to join our team! If you have a passion for working with young children and are committed to helping them learn and grow in a safe, loving environment, we would love to hear from you.
Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
- Reliable, enthusiastic, energetic, and healthy
- Patient and caring with young children
- Enjoy talking, playing, and interacting with children throughout the day
- Able to follow directions, schedules, and center policies
- Willing to follow all Virginia Department of Education (VDOE) regulations and center procedures
- Must understand or be willing to learn CLASS objectives and implement age-appropriate lessons using provided training and materials
- Comfortable changing diapers and assisting with normal infant/toddler care routines
- Willing to complete 24 hours of required online training within the designated timeframe
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday
- Hours scheduled between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM
Additional Requirements:
- Ability to pass a fingerprint background check
- Ability to pass a DSS background check
- Reliable transportation, including during inclement weather (we do not close according to the public school schedule)
Compensation:
- Pay based on experience
