Substitute Teachers

Qualifications:

• Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities:

• Supervise students in the classroom and during assigned duties such as lunch, recess, or dismissal
• Provide classroom instruction following lesson plans provided by the regular teacher
• Manage classroom behavior and uphold school rules and policies
• Maintain confidentiality of student and school information
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and productive classroom environment

Salary:

• Certified Substitute Teachers will earn $12.00 per hour and Non-Certified Substitute Teachers will earn $10.66 per hour for a 7.5-hour workday

• Applicants who meet certification/endorsement requirements may be interviewed.
