ITTConnect is seeking a Fiserv Configuration Specialist expert in Payments for a direct-hire full time position with a client in Miami.
Hands-on configuration role responsible for the money-movement layer of the bank in Fiserv Finxact — Fedwire, SWIFT, ACH, RTP and FedNow — together with the screening, limits, returns and posting logic that surround them. The specialist configures rails to be correctly parameterized, straight-through wherever possible, reconciled daily and fully aligned to U.S. compliance requirements, and carries the domain through network certification into production.
This is the highest compliance-exposure configuration position in the squad: errors translate directly into regulatory and financial risk, and rail certification sits on the critical path to launch. The role works closely with Compliance, Payment Operations and the integration team, and owns the controls evidence that supports audit and examiner review.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure payment products and rails in Finxact — Fedwire, SWIFT, ACH (Nacha, including Same Day ACH), RTP and FedNow — including message mapping and ISO 20022 alignment.
- Parameterize OFAC and sanctions screening placement, hold-release behavior, false-positive handling, and the hand-off to AML transaction monitoring.
- Configure transaction and daily limits, cut-off windows, calendars, dual authorization, and exception and return handling (R-codes, recalls, investigations).
- Design and configure straight-through-processing flows, settlement posting, nostro and suspense account behavior, and daily reconciliation rules.
- Work with the Integration Engineers on connectivity to networks, processors, AML and digital channels via MuleSoft / AWS API Gateway — defining contracts, error handling and idempotency expectations.
- Support UAT, network and rail certification testing, and go-live cutover, with traceable evidence for regulators.
- Define payment operations runbooks, exception queues and the day-one support model together with Application Support.
- Maintain configuration documentation and controls evidence for internal audit, external audit and examiners.
Requirements
- 10 years of experience
- MUST HAVE experience with Fiserv platform, preferably with Finxact.
- 5 years in payments within banking, including hands-on configuration within the Fiserv ecosystem — Finxact, Enterprise Payments Platform (formerly Dovetail), PEP / ACHNext, NOW Gateway, or payments modules on DNA, Signature, Premier or Precision.
- Deep, current knowledge of U.S. rails — Fedwire, ACH/Nacha, RTP and FedNow — including settlement, finality, cut-offs and returns/exception handling.
- Practical OFAC and sanctions screening design: where screening sits in the flow, hold-release logic, and false-positive management without breaking STP.
- Experience configuring straight-through processing, settlement posting and daily payment reconciliation.
- Working knowledge of ISO 20022 message structures and of REST/JSON API-based platforms.
- Experience in a regulated, audit-driven environment with formal change management and segregation of duties.
Preferred
- Hands-on Finxact experience, Finxact Academy badges or Fiserv product certification.
- Fiserv payments ecosystem — Enterprise Payments Platform (ex-Dovetail), PEP / ACHNext, NOW Gateway (RTP and FedNow).
- AML transaction-monitoring and sanctions-screening integration exposure.
- SWIFT / correspondent banking and nostro reconciliation background.
