ITTConnect is seeking a Collector & Foreclosure Specialist for a direct-hire full time position with a client that is a large financial institution.
Job location: Miami, FL, fully onsite.
Administers assigned delinquent and higher-risk residential and commercial credits under established procedures and the direction of the Loss Mitigation Team Leader. Performs collections, maintains account records, monitors portfolio performance, prepares factual reports, coordinates approved foreclosure and recovery actions, and escalates matters requiring management attention.

All job responsibilities must be carried out according to Federal/State regulations, in adherence to the Bank Secrecy Act and in Compliance with the BSA/AML program.
Responsibilities are not exhaustive and may change with business needs. All duties must comply with applicable federal and state laws, Bank policies, the Bank Secrecy Act, and the BSA/AML program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor delinquency, payment performance, maturities, covenants, collateral, legal status, and other signs of credit deterioration.
- Implement and track approved workouts, repayment plans, settlements, forbearance, modifications, foreclosures, liquidations, and recoveries.
- Coordinate legal and foreclosure milestones, sale dates, notices, referrals, expenses, post-sale actions, and OREO activity.
- Communicate with borrowers, guarantors, counsel, servicers, vendors, and internal teams; escalate decisions and exceptions appropriately.
- Prepare and reconcile dashboards and reports covering portfolio balances, activity, contacts, promises to pay, follow-up completion, delinquency migration, cures, recoveries, nonaccruals, charge-offs, pipeline timing, and aging.
- Investigate data-quality exceptions and provide concise factual commentary on matters requiring management follow-up.
- Maintain confidentiality, fair-treatment standards, regulatory compliance, and complete account documentation; support other reporting and departmental needs as assigned.
Requirements
- 3 years of relevant banking, collections, servicing, loss mitigation, workout, foreclosure, recovery, or Special Assets experience.
- Working knowledge of lending laws, loan documentation, delinquency management, foreclosure processes, collateral issues, and credit-risk concepts.
- Ability to analyze portfolio data, identify trends and exceptions, prepare factual reports, and manage multiple accounts, deadlines, and legal milestones.
- Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, data validation, charts, and reconciliations.
- Strong communication, judgment, discretion, organization, and commitment to the Bank's vision, values, and fair treatment of borrowers.
- Ensure all borrowers are treated in an appropriate manner
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field preferred.
- Must be fluent in English and Spanish.
