Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated ServiceNow Business Analyst to support mission-critical federal programs in a secure environment. This role is ideal for a professional with experience gathering business requirements, optimizing business processes, and collaborating with technical teams to deliver effective ServiceNow solutions.
The successful candidate will serve as the liaison between business stakeholders and development teams, ensuring business needs are accurately translated into functional requirements and implemented through the ServiceNow platform.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document functional and technical requirements.
Facilitate workshops, meetings, and interviews to understand business objectives and operational challenges.
Translate business requirements into user stories, process flows, use cases, and functional specifications.
Collaborate with ServiceNow developers, architects, and project managers throughout the solution lifecycle.
Support configuration, testing, implementation, and deployment of ServiceNow solutions.
Assist with business process analysis and recommend opportunities for automation and process improvement.
Participate in system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and defect resolution.
Develop user documentation, training materials, and process documentation.
Ensure solutions align with organizational goals, compliance requirements, and ServiceNow best practices.
Provide ongoing support to stakeholders following implementation.
Required Qualifications
Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph security clearance (required).
Must reside in or be able to work on-site within the Washington, DC Metro Area.
Experience as a Business Analyst, preferably supporting ServiceNow implementations or enhancements.
Strong experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies, including user stories, backlog management, and sprint planning.
Experience working with ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, HRSD, SecOps, CSM, or related applications.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
