About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to drive new business growth for our IT staffing and workforce solutions practice.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of selling IT staffing services to enterprise clients and strong hands-on experience working with MSPs (Managed Service Providers) and VMS (Vendor Management Systems).
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategies to acquire new IT staffing clients and accounts.
- Identify and target companies with ongoing IT hiring and contingent workforce requirements.
- Build relationships with Hiring Managers, Procurement, HR, Talent Acquisition, MSP Program Managers, and Vendor Management teams.
- Generate new business through cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn, networking, referrals, and industry events.
- Identify opportunities within MSP and VMS programs and successfully navigate the vendor onboarding and client acquisition process.
- Develop relationships with MSPs, prime vendors, implementation partners, and enterprise clients.
- Understand client workforce requirements and position appropriate IT staffing solutions.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting and lead generation through discovery, proposal, negotiation, and account closure.
- Coordinate with recruiting and delivery teams to ensure successful fulfillment of client requirements.
- Expand existing accounts by identifying additional hiring needs, departments, locations, and skill requirements.
- Track sales activity, pipeline, client interactions, submissions, interviews, and placements using CRM and other sales tools.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, staffing rates, and emerging IT skill demands.
- Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue and business-development targets.
Required Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in Business Development / Sales within IT Staffing or Technology Staffing.
- Proven experience selling IT staffing solutions to enterprise and mid-market clients.
- Direct experience with MSP and VMS-based staffing programs.
- Strong understanding of the IT staffing lifecycle and contingent workforce
